When Superior implemented company-wide electronic learning in 2019, it was a game-changer for our business in our efforts to meet and comply with environmental, health and safety, and regulatory issues. By switching to Superior University, an online, interactive, self-paced eLearning tool, our employees stay up-to-date on training and procedure updates and their results are automatically tracked and tabulated in a central database.
“In business, it’s all about the return on investment,” said Dave Hembroff, the director of training and development. “Where and how we invest our training time matters. Our managers and supervisors no longer present training modules or fill out paperwork documenting which team members completed training. Our employees fulfill their training requirements in a more efficient, effective way that engages them in the learning process. It’s freed up our entire team across all of our locations so they’re able to focus on our core business: serving our customers.”

Our employees have embraced Superior University.
They’ve completed 30,000 courses in the 30 months it’s been active, averaging 1000 courses per month, or just under 100 courses completed per employee.
Additionally, Superior University’s training program was cited as a strength and “best practice” during this year’s 3 DQS ISO 9001:2015 Surveillance Audits.
